Exposition Reviews
What we do
We undertake Exposition Assessments as part of the regulatory procedure for MAOS Approval.
We maintain objectivity but also make our expertise available in the form of advice to Applicants.
How we operate
On receipt of the draft exposition our audit team leader will carry out an assessment of the document to ensure it contains the necessary information and detail as required by the relevant section of Defence Standard 05-130.
We will not require content or format that is not included in the Defence Standard.
The process
The main focus of the initial assessment is based upon:
The description of the management structure
The reporting lines within the organisation,
The facilities and associated locations,
The authorisation criteria for certifying staff,
The adequacy of the quality management and error management systems,
The proposed scope of work,
The contracting arrangements and
The operational procedures.
Any issues identified during the review will be officially notified to the organisation with clear references to the areas identified as discrepant or missing. This feedback may also require closer communication between Aviation Compliance Ltd and the Applicant to clarify the most effective means of compliance for the organisation.
The Exposition will be the basis for any future assessment audits of the organisation and as such it is beneficial for all parties concerned that the document is as detailed and accurate as necessary.
